Photohunters - String
Posted on September 5, 2008 - Filed Under photohunters
Not too long back i blogged about me attending the Harp in French Music which was organized by the Penang State Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. Though i was late for the show and was forced to stand at the entrance, i could still here the harpist plucking the strings. Too bad the it only lasted for one part of the show
Have a great weekend everyone
Chelsea meets Malaysia
Posted on September 3, 2008 - Filed Under football
I was alerted by my parents that i was suppose to be the driver for my brother when he comes down to KL to catch Chelsea vs Malaysia but after realizing that the match was gonna be held at Shah Alam Stadium, i tagged along …. and at the same time burning a hole in my wallet.
I didn’t join him at the same stands because the ticket i got was slightly cheaper.
So instead, i joined Jin Boone, his gf and his friend
Photohunters - Beautiful
Posted on August 29, 2008 - Filed Under photohunters
Many a times, the adjective ‘beautiful’ has been reserved for only man and woman …. and also non living things like cars, houses, etc. Very rare would you hear anyone complementing on a plant let alone a tree.
Many moons back, i was back in Penang for the weekend. As i was clearing up my room, i noticed that the mango tree that my parents once planted has finally started flowering.
I have no shame but to admit that it was my first time seeing a flower of a mango tree. And in a few weeks time, the fruits would be visible but that didn’t really happen.
That’s because moments after i shot this picture, i heard the motor of a chainsaw rumbling and the next thing i knew, the tree wasn’t insight of my camera -_-”
The tree was marked X as it was in the way of the road that the local authorities were planning to expand.
“Beauty seen is never lost”
Have a great weekend everyone

It has been a month since Sae Wei’s and FireWire’s (yes that’s his real name LOL) wedding and finally i have time to write about it. I was told to hold on before writing but the fact that my entries are all backlogged, it didn’t really matter
William and i drove from Cyberjaya towards PJ to fetch Angeline and Evelyn before heading over to Wangsa Maju where we met up with Aaron and Daniel
We were there quite early, so early that we had breakfast at a nearby coffee shop ala Old Kopitiam. After forty odd minutes, we were told that Firewire was on his way to pick Sae Wei. So we gathered at Sae Wei’s place and waited
Photohunters - Wrinkled
Posted on August 23, 2008 - Filed Under photohunters
The four days i was on Redang island, my skin on my hands and my feet were temporarily wrinkled. Being in the water for a long time definitely gets anyone’s hands to be wrinkled. But it was a good trade off except when it came to walking around on a crescent-looking-man-made island when both my feet were badly bruised because dead corals were scattered all over the island -_-”
I don’t really have a picture of me having wrinkled hands or feet but i think you get the drill
On a side note, i have totally forgotten about the burst shots that were taken on Redang island and it’s finally done. Credits to David for stitching them up, lol
The file is size is huge so it might take a while to get this running, please be patient
Have a great weekend everyone
Phailed
Posted on August 21, 2008 - Filed Under just for laughs

A few days a go i joined my fellow comrades in the ‘PHAILED’ regime, simply because my site was down. William was the first to say, “Satkuru, you iz phailed” -_-” In fact i have renewed it more than a week before the expiring date but a miscommuncation with the webhosting company cause it to be down for 96 hours in some places.
So to those you were so nice to actually drop me messages asking where in the world is my blog when you only see a weird looking page, i thank you for your concern
I have so much to blog about but everything seems to be backlogged because i don’t have enough time to write >_<”
For the time being, let me share with you a few of the ‘phailed’ moments that were captured in the past few months

Hung Wei failed in focusing
I failed in setting my camera in the right settings that it made this picture look like there was an enormous explosion -_-”
LOL i wonder if you all noticed what’s wrong with this picture
P/S: Go watch WALL-E ! It was better than i expected, seriously. Two thumbs up. Evaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !
Photohunters - Colourful
Posted on August 15, 2008 - Filed Under photohunters
Not too long ago, i was at the MIFC or better known as the Malaysian International Fireworks Competition and this is the 2nd year running that this competition is being held. Last year’s winner, Australia was outstanding and i am wondering if any country could do better or even emulate what the Australians have done.
This was the first time that i am capturing fireworks and i had no idea what i was looking for. I wasn’t sure of the settings nor was i sure of the location that i was at. All i did was snap snap snap snap. Since this competition carries on till the end of the month, i thought it was would be a good exposure for me to try out a few times before the big finale which will be held on the 29th of August.
The fireworks display was definitely eye poppingly colourful and i really can’t wait for the next one
Have a great colourful weekend everyone
P/S: Have you all watched how Michael Phelps swam into the history books by being the most gold medal winner in Olympics ? And the way he swimmms, no wonder some say he is half man, half fish, lol.
Why only half of your arm has hair ?
Posted on August 14, 2008 - Filed Under just for laughs
Jess was asking whether i would like her to iron or rather straighten the hair on my arm which led to me writing this entry. Jess i shall spare you this time, since it’s your Bday. If not no mercy!

I am glad to say that i am blessed with so many nieces that whenever one is big enough to talk, they will ask questions where you might just end up stabbing your eyes with a fork. But then again, i have gone thru this drill so many times that i got used to it until a few weeks back.
I was at my Aunt’s place and ran came my niece who is still in kindergarten asking me riddles that she came up with.
Then out of the blue, she held my hand and asked:
SHE: Why only half of your arm has hair and the upper half doesn’t?
ME: ………… -_-”
Cousin: That’s because the lower half is Indian arm and the upper half is Chinese arm *smirkes*
ME: @_@! ……………..
SHE: OOOoooooo ….
ME: Hehehehe yes yes *i just agreed to keep things short and probably to end the conversation*
SHE: So do you shampoo your lower arm ?
ME: ….

MMU Convocation 2008
Posted on August 11, 2008 - Filed Under mmu
So last weekend was MMU’s convocation and i was there to help photograph for William. I reached the Grand Hall close to 12.30pm which was when the graduates will be allowed to leave. The place wasn’t as pack as previous years where part of the buildings surrounding the Grand Hall wasn’t fully completed.
I met so many people, those who have graduated years back and those who are still in MMU.
